08 Jul The Drum Roses Creative Awards Winner
Last year we worked closely with Lee from B&W design studio in Leeds producing a heritage book for Silver Cross.
This project included shooting prams in the studio, lifestyle shoots around the UK and also a shoot in the Silver Cross factory capturing the craftsmanship and history that goes into each pram.
The heritage book was entered into The Drum Roses Creative Awards 2016 by Lee from B&W in the Publications category. I am proud to hear the heritage book won a Roses Creative Silver Award.
A short description of the project:
Heritage book – History in the Making
Silver Cross wanted a high quality guide to help sell their top of the range prams in Harrods and China. Built to order and often retailing at over £1500, these hand-finished prams are some of the best in the world. So we created an A3 casebound heritage book that reflected the heritage, craft and attention to detail that went into them.
We foil blocked ‘History in the Making’ on six alternative covers, made clever use of bilingual text and commissioned photography at Silver Cross’s Yorkshire factory to show a range of craftspeople at work. The finished designs were printed on high quality stock and bound by artisan local bookbinders Spink & Thackray.
