We had never done anything like this before & we were a little worried about unleashing Olivia on Matthew as she is generally regarded within our family as ‘Stunt Baby’. As with most 1-year-old's, Matthew’s studio quickly became a land full of adventure & potential mischief! However, from the moment we met Matthew he made us all feel completely comfortable, relaxed and did an outstanding job of keeping Olivia entertained, happy & animated throughout the shoot. At the viewing we were stunned by how accurately & sensitively Matthew had captured not only Olivia’s personality but also the very spirit of our family unit. Truly mesmerized by Matthew’s work, we weren’t presented with mere photographs, more works of art expressing emotion, feeling & soul would be a more fitting description. To sum up the experience is impossible. Matthew has not simply taken pictures of us, he has created an irreplaceable treasure for our family, a moment in our lifetime that Olivia would have ordinarily lost forever.
